Blake Mansfield grew up in the family business from a young age.  In 2001 he decided to go to work full time with the family business.  In his 20 years of experience he has helped to grow Nansemond lawn and landscape as well as founding Nansemond contractors.  Blake has extensive experience with large scale land clearing projects, earth moving projects, grading, earth moving projects utilities, surface mining, as well as concrete and paving.   Blake attributes his success to the many role models he has had throughout his career, from coworkers, engineers, owner/developers, as well as consultants.  Blake began his career with a single truck, an excavator and a dozer and has now expanded that to a large fleet capable of handling tens of thousand yard jobs and intensive grade challenges.  Blake has a vision of making proposed projects come to reality with integrity.  In 2020 Blake acquired Bay sand company to further meet the demands of his civil construction clients.  Blake maintains an active roll in each business and is continually involved their means and methods of construction.
